Appointment done in 2 hrs!
My schedule was 6:30 in the morning. Left Embassy at 8:30 am.

step 1 - showed my ds-260 and passport to a lady, she attached a sticker with my name and a barcode in it, then she returned it to me together with the passport which is inside a ziploc.
step 2 - bag inspection/ security check, make sure you dont have your cellphone or any gadget with you
step 3 - pre screening interview
step 4- biometrics
step 5- final interview with the consul

The consul I spoke with is very nice and friendly.

He asked the following questions:
What is your name?
who is your petitioner?
What is your relationship with the petitioner?
what is his job?
what state does he live in?
where and when did you meet?
how long have you been married?
did you get married here in the philippines?
when did your husband enter the United States?

Process was quick and seamless. In and out in less than 1 hour.

Pre-screening: I was requested to submit original/certified copies of our marriage certificate, my birth certificate and my NBI Clearance. I was also asked to present a photocopy of my husband's W-2 (thankfully, I have this on file! I didn't expect that they'll ask for this one bec we already uploaded tax returns and IRS transcripts to CEAC). I wasn't asked to present CEMAR.

Interview: Questions were straightforward. How I met my husband; how many times we visited each other; any previous marriages; any kids; I was asked how many times I've been to the US before - did I overstay at any time, longest length of visit (in my case, it was just around 1 month and this was many years ago before I met my husband); I was asked to enumerate all the other countries I've visited (I love traveling so this took a while); Lastly, the consular officer asked what I intend to do for work once in the US. He ... read complete review

My husband's appointment was 6:30am.
Coming from Pangasinan he arrived at Manila at 4am and headed to the Manila USEM at 5:30am. People started to come as well.

Showed the interview letter, DS 260, Passport.

Pre-screening: Ds260,birth certificate, marriage certificate, Cenomar/advisory on Marriages (both His and mine),NBI clearance,he said they didn't even asked for his 2x2 pictures, the lady at the window started to ask questions too on how we both met etc..[I may have forgotten some other documents that they asked for, this is just how my husband told his story from what happened.]
They also even took my 2019 tax transcript.[I dont know if this is at the prescreening stage or consul stage]

Next biometrics: fingerprints [according to my husband the Filipina ladies are so strict and serious. But the guys like the consuls are so understanding and nice.

Next waiting name to be called by the consul, they only ... read complete review
